Introduction

A dream, a calling, and a city waiting to be invited in.

As a lifelong educator and passionate follower of Christ, it has been a dream to bring the Nativity story to life through drama, music, and interactive experiences for all ages.

When we first experienced Back to Bethlehem, we knew this was the outreach tool we had been praying for. It brings history to life, introduces families to the account of Jesus, and builds community.

The Vision

Why Back to Bethlehem?

01

Immersive, interactive live nativity experience

02

Opportunity for community outreach — families attend, encounter Christ, and often stay

03

Proven success — many families became part of their church after experiencing it

04

Builds connections within the church body & community churches

05

Engages children, teens, adults — with room for everyone to serve

06

Creates space for worship, joy, and evangelism

The Experience

Imagine the streets of Bethlehem…

  • Soldiers, shepherds, angels, and wise men roaming the crowd
  • Marketplace with real animals — goats, sheep, camels
  • Singing, Jewish dancing, Roman soldiers, dramatic encounters
  • Visitors interact with Biblical Nativity figures in-person and virtually — including Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus
  • Children's area at the end with hot chocolate, treats, and prayer
  • An opportunity to partner with other churches in the area

It feels like stepping onto the set of The Chosen.
